Industry Pioneers

After years of prohibition, cannabis was finally legalized across Canada on October 17, 2018, to much celebration and delight.
On January 11, 2019, our store was selected as one of the first legal cannabis retail outlets to open its doors in London, Ontario.
Initially operating under the Tweed brand name, our store quickly became the top-grossing cannabis retailer in the country, outperforming other industry players due to our exceptional staff and strategic business partnerships.
We firmly believe that well-informed customers are empowered customers. That is why we place great emphasis on educating any customer who is curious about cannabis. This educational approach forms the core foundation of how we operate our store.
On January 6th, 2020, the laws governing the sale of edible cannabis products were finalized, resulting in an even more diverse product selection in our store. During this period, our store also introduced Click & Collect and Same-Day Cannabis Delivery services.
In 2024, we still offer a wide range of diverse and interesting product offerings while we continue to provide excellent customer experiences. This year, we made the decision to rebrand our store as London Cannabis, a move designed to honour the city that played a pivotal role in helping us get our start in the burgeoning legal cannabis industry.
